On March 1st, I was able to celebrate the vinyl release of my debut solo full-length album, Recurring Dream. Concurrent with that occasion, New York Times music critic Seth Colter-Walls authored a thoughtful look at the music contained on that record, as well as new works by my friends Dave Ruder and Joe White.
In addition to that piece, I’ve been fortunate to receive some very kind nods about the record in great websites/blogs/newsletters including Foxy Digitalis, Viking’s Choice, Post-Trash, Rosy Overdrive, Undrcurrents, Doom & Gloom from the Tomb, and others. I’m really grateful for the reception and I’m glad that people agree with me that this is music worth spending time with. I have many, many boxes of this record in my basement. Please feel free to purchase one or two copies.
The livestream of the performance with Recurring Dream Band (Nick Podgurski, Cory Bracken, Matt Bachmann, Sam Morrison, Mara Mayer, and guest vocalists Dave Ruder, Father Dude, and Amirtha Kidambi) is archived along with all of Roulette Intermedium’s performances post-covid – you can watch it below.

Beyond the realm of Recurring Dream, Patrick Shiroishi and I released a blazing sopranino saxophone duo tape. No title, no track titles, just piercing noise or quiet discomfort. That can be found here. Modern Nature will be going on tour in May. Sunwatchers have been practicing and getting ready to do some gigs this summer. I am preparing a lot of new music to be released throughout 2022. Thanks for your time, attention, and kindness.
